long time between drinks...
ok, so it sure has been a while since i last tumblr-ed (is that even a word?)… sorry bout that…
anyways, today marks 7 weeks till i leave the shores of aus, and head over to the land of the U S of A…

so i had the most wonderful 24 hours yesterday/today… met a wonderful, fascinating, kind-hearted person, spent the day with him, really relaxed and just felt really good and happy….
was a good feeling :)

i pride myself as being a fairly independent girl, not needing a man to do things for me, but i really miss (and want) things like this. i am a closet romantic, and although i put up the front that i am independent and happy to do things on my own, having a man show me he really cares by...

started back at my old job waitressing again today/tonite…
and what a day to be running around like a mad woman for 8 hours… feel like i sweated about 10 litres… 43 degrees…? not even funny…

I have set myself a challenge of working my way through the alphabet, from A to Z, learning a couple of new recipes for each letter. I plan on doing around 2 letters a week, so i can get it done before i embark on my overseas adventures.
If you have suggestions for me, please let me know! I am only doing recipes/dishes i have NEVER cooked before, so we should be in store...
