started back at my old job waitressing again today/tonite…
and what a day to be running around like a mad woman for 8 hours… feel like i sweated about 10 litres… 43 degrees…? not even funny…

I have set myself a challenge of working my way through the alphabet, from A to Z, learning a couple of new recipes for each letter. I plan on doing around 2 letters a week, so i can get it done before i embark on my overseas adventures.
If you have suggestions for me, please let me know! I am only doing recipes/dishes i have NEVER cooked before, so we should be in store...

the dessert of the year...
tonite i made the mother of all desserts - THE dessert of the year… yes, i do understand that it is only the 10th day of the year, but i stand by my statement.
i made, for myself and my dear friend emzy, a raspberry eton mess. its basically a mess of chewy, sticky meringue, sweet vanilla cream, juicy fresh strawberries, and a sexy, velvety raspberry coulis.

2morrow - some quality time with my favourite girl holga, followed by lunch for one at the greenhouse, maybe a pedicure, then perhaps a bit more happy snapping? sounds like a plan :)
